GHST Streetworks Focus ST Battery Relocation Kit (2013–2018)

Clean up your engine bay and free up valuable space with the GHST Streetworks battery relocation kit for the 2013–2018 Focus ST. Designed around my own car, this kit moves the battery to the spare tire well and opens up the driver-side area for future sidewinder turbo setups, hood dumps, custom piping, and a much cleaner overall look. Requires removal of spare tire.

This kit was designed to make battery relocation as straightforward as possible. Every kit includes a detailed step-by-step install guide with pictures showing exactly where to route the wiring, how to pass through the firewall, where to make the necessary connections, and how to mount everything securely. All extension wires are color-coded to minimize confusion during installation.

Important information:

Sealed batteries are strongly recommended. Standard flooded batteries can release gases during charging, which may damage interior materials over time when mounted inside. Some batteries include factory vent ports that can be routed outside the vehicle. Vent tube compatibility varies by battery manufacturer and is the customer’s responsibility. If not using a sealed battery, I highly recommend to buy a vent hose specific to your battery model. 

Disconnect the battery before beginning installation. Never allow tools to contact the positive terminal and the grounded battery tray or chassis at the same time, as this can cause sparks, electrical damage, serious burns, or injury. Double-check all wiring connections before reconnecting the battery.

Some basic electrical knowledge is recommended. Minor trimming and routing adjustments may be required depending on your specific setup.
